Jeff chime's in...ding, ding

Wednesday mid-day, Pretoria, South Africa, 72 degrees, brilliant sunshine (wintertime).
After a 6:41 am departure from our new home this morning to get the kids to their brand spanking new school www.aisj-jhb.com, we drove back, right-hand drive 2001 white Volvo XC 70 2.4T, to the house. Only pictures can do the house justice--5 br, 6ba. outdoor fpl. fml dr, eik, study, pool and 10-12 foot high 10,000 volt fences. One touch to the fence will bounce an adult about 20' or kill a small dog (ie, child).
Tammy (the real blogger) has been doing an amazing job keeping her head on straight and mouth shut. Today I sent her out with an international man of leisure to get some communication equipment and have a nice lunch. We'll see how lunch went. Jet lag has been a bit of a bore. Waking up at 1 am, feeling refreshed after 4 hours of sleep. Too bad Anna feels the same. We've been "medicating" her itchiness with benadryl which seems to help, quite a bit.
Got to go. Stay in touch!

Jeff

  1. I can't believe that you guys are in Africa! It sounds scary and how can Tammy manage with that many keys to keep track of? You two are notorious for always misplacing your keys! I miss you tons and keep on posting as often as you can! XOXO Stephanie

  2. Finally figured out how to join your online cult thingy so here we are! virtually together... you may want to let me know what the rules are for posting here. Will this be monitored? Like should I not talk about my car jacking business or how much tea I drink? You've only been gone 2 weeks and I've already broken every fashion rule you ever taught me and bought a white minivan from Sacramento, used. If you don't come home soon I may start decorating my living room with beer can art and furniture I find on the sidewalk!!! Sorry to hear about the sleep troubles. I could record some LH business meetings, that might help you guys nod off? Have you tried Opera? Let us know how the first week of school was for the kids and how you're doing with getting your food fixes. I'm ready to send emergency supplies just say the word. I've been trying to stock pile potato chips but they keep disappearing .... into my mouth. My next accomplishment will be to hook up the Skype account so be on the look out for a late night caller, you know I'm bad at math, especially nines, so I'm sure to call at all the wrong times. Be well do good stay cool.

    Stacey (still crazy)

  3. Jeff please provide a key to your last posting where you describe the house. I think the flp is a fireplace? or is it a flaming lounge pool? What the hell is a fml dr and an eik?? Family Doctor and Entirely Internal Kitchen? or French Male Driver and Every Inch Killer?

    confused and crazy
